Sprinting losses twice as much fat as jogging

Picture this, one group who sprint 30 Secs, 4 rounds, followed by 4 minutes of recovery 3 times a week for 2 weeks, versus another group that’s jogging 30 to 60 minutes 3 times a week.

The group sprinting lost twice as much body fat as the group jogging for 30 to 60 minutes. The fat loss isn’t coming from the actual time you’re exercising, but on the time recovering, and recovery is a fuel-burning process.

If you want to lose fat more effectively, don’t waste time jogging or with low effort activities, instead, try sprinting or high effort activities like a rowing machine, cycling, box jumping, burpees, etc… many can be done in your home, garage, park…

This research was conducted by Martin Gibala, an associate professor in the department of the kinesiology of McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
